Aftercare Timber: Avoid placing your furniture under direct sunlight and/or near radiators. Also, occasionally polish the non-painted furniture parts with bees wax to retain sheen and for longer lifespan.

Aftercare Leather: Light marks, stretches and scratches on the leather used in the furniture should not be viewed as flaws. These natural markings disappear and soften over time and usage. This ability to 'rub out' marks is a sign of a high quality hide. When leather scratches, just rub on the mark with your hand or fingertips to move natural oils around to correct the mark. Over time the scratch will dissipate. To maintain your upholstered leather furniture use a vacuum cleaner to clean it on at least a weekly basis. For minor spots and spills immediately wipe with a soft white cloth dampened with distilled water and let air dry. Do not dry with hair dryers, heaters, etc. for spills of butter, oil or grease, wipe up and excess with a clean, dry cloth. Do not apply water or try to wash the spot. Leave the spot alone. The spot will gradually dissipate into the leather after a short period of time. To keep the leather supple and prevent fading, protect it from exposure to direct sunlight, heating vents and radiators. To clean leather do not use the following products: saddle soap; cleaning solvents; furniture polish; oils; varnish; abrasive cleaners.
